Since #239 I download the latest h5ad2rds.R to replace the original annh5ad2rds.R. I noticed that the add image section is disabled by default in the latest h5ad2rds.R. Without the image, functions like SpatialFeaturePlot will not work as expected in R. Although I can enable it manually and everything will work as expected, I still wonders why it was disabled by default? Thank you.

I noticed the same issue. Could you elaborate on how to add image? Thanks!

The GEF doesn't contain image information, so the RDS converted from it doesn't contain image information either.

yep I agree that the GEF doesn't contain image information. However, to make the spatial plotting function of Seurat to work as expected, I think it's essential to insert an image-like object to the image slot.

Can you please tell me how to enable adding images?
