Starter Issues
Inspired by Adobe's Brackets project, a starter bug is a label for issues in the PressForward GitHub project.
The starter bug issues are issues that are relatively small fixes that can be accomplished with basic WordPress knowledge. The label is in place so that more people can be involved in building and understanding PressForward and to help interested users learn how to develop code for PressForward and WordPress.
Any issue labeled a starter bug should be able to be solved in under an hour and by someone with a beginner's level of understanding of WordPress development.
The PressForward Plugin is developed and maintained by the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University as part of the PressForward Project, generously funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Our developers include Aram Zucker-Scharff, Boone B. Gorges, and Jeremy Boggs. PressForward is free to use and modify under an AGPLv3 license.
