Deepsea Knowledge Wiki : Created to assist Nintendo modders, has a lot of information on textures used in Splatoon.
Splatoon Wiki : Wiki for Splatoon 1, 2 and 3, very comprehensive and reliable.
The Models Resource : Site dedicated to ripping models and other assets from games, has an extremely comprehensive catalogue of Splatoon 2 and 3 models.
The Cutting Room Floor : Information about deeper game mechanics and unused assets from Splatoon 1 & 2.
The Squidnodes addon works a bit differently than other addons. This is to simplify installation, and to make updates to Blender easier to manage.
- Download the Squidnodes.blend file from our distribution page here: https://github.com/PastaOwO/Squidnodes
- Save the file to somewhere that you can access easily
- Either create a new blend file, or open an existing one
- Under the "File" dropdown menu, select "Append"
- Locate the Squidnodes.blend file
- A folder labelled "NodeTree" should be present. Click into this folder
- Select everything inside the folder and tick the "Fake User" box on the right hand side of the file dialog
- Click "Append"
- Import your model and set it up as you wish
- In the shader editor, search for "Squidnodes" in the "Add" dropdown menu
- If all goes well, you should see the addon's shaders right there!
