Mapping Parties

Victoria 2 political parties are mapped to HoI3 parties in three phases.

In the first phase, any Vic2 parties that are unique to their ideology are matched to the appropriate HoI3 party.

In the second phase, parties are put into groups. If there are enough HoI3 parties in a group, the Vic2 parties in that group are arbitrarily mapped to HoI3 parties in the group.

In the third phase, Vic2 parties are merged with the other parties in their ideology, and then the second phase is repeated.

Name

The name of the party is transferred from Vic2.

Organization

Organization is set the amount of the Vic2 upper house controlled by the parties ideology, divided among all parties of that ideology.

Popularity

Popularity is set the amount of the Vic2 upper house controlled by the parties ideology, divided among all parties of that ideology.
