Thanks to @shashank140195, we fixed a schema import bug #10. In addition, we are trying to develop a new feature for auto-save. As this function is still under test, we added a switch in the settings:

We are happy to announce this big update! Thanks to @glacierck and @varna9000 and their suggestions, we added YAML and JSON format of annotation schema support in this new version. Using YAML and JSON format to design annotation schema is easier than before, and the Schema Editor in MedTator is also updated to export the schema to YAML and JSON format. Based on this new format, MedTator also supports customized tokenization exceptions, which can be defined in the annotation schema for your project. We updated our samples to show this feature, and the Wiki page also describes the new design.

Another big update in this release is about the file reading. We refactored our code and re-designed the workflow to optimize the file reading performance and rendering performance. You can drag and drop a folder that contains many annotation files to annotate, adjudicate, and convert from text files to XML format.

As there are many updates and significant changes in the code design, we made this major release of version 1.3.0. For more details on this update, you can check MedTator README.md.
