Disassemble Romo

Steps to disassemble Romo:

  • Remove bottom screws
  • Take a plastic card (e.g. credit card) and insert it between the wheels and the body on all 4 sides. There are plastic clips there which are hard to see. Insert the card on all 4 sides with a bottom to top motion. When you unclip those the body will split in two.

These images should make it clearer to see where the pins are located.

The connector housing (lightning or 30 pin) is a cylinder that can be removed from the main body but the parts that form the cylinder are glued together. It can be opened with caution but it is highly likely that it will be broken in the process.
