[FEEDBACK] Remove liss-bot star reminder #1412

I could probably remove that now... The reason it was added in the first place, is when a project is newer, it can be hard to get traction on GitHub. The algorithm is shallow, and GH uses stars as a metric when choosing to display projects on users home feeds. So it was sort of a necessary evil in order to grow the project. Worth noting, it doesn't affect how your ticket is handled. Just a friendly "if you're enjoying our project, consider showing us some love" But I do agree, it's slightly annoying for users, and I also personally hate having to use stars as a metric, it doesn't correlate to a projects usefulness at all. |
Having a bot come in and say "Give me a Golden Star!" when somebody files an issue is a proverbial kick in the balls.
I know you're (Lissy93 & Contributors) Proud of the project. Its a handy thing! And so far, It's great work! (besides the fact users are just appearances) But, this isn't YouTube.
