In anticipation of the tentatively scheduled "Working at NERSC" DESC seminar on May 30th - what do we need to do to get this merged? Who should be tasked for review @jchiang87 ? Is there any need for a more current sims releases using a more recent stack weekly @fjaviersanchez ? Currently sims uses w_2018_13. We have jumped to w_2018_18 for the DRP processing, and it's always possible we will push ahead once more as needed. I'll have to inquire with IN2P3. |

@heather999 from sims it needs the rotator functions that (I think) @danielsf implemented. For the "basic" depth analysis that's it. For the LSS-like analysis it needs some non-standard (not pip installable) things but it doesn't use the stack at all. I can try to change the code to reduce the number of dependencies or send you the instructions I followed to install this software :). Please, let me know what's best! |

Hi @fjaviersanchez How about instructions for installing the software and then I'll give it a try - then we can go from there! |

@heather999 I added instructions for install here: https://github.com/LSSTDESC/DC2_Repo/blob/issues/%23161/Validation/Requirements_and_install.md I was planning to just go over the notebook called |

Sorry, it's a bug! I cleaned too many cells... I am updating it now :) |

@heather999 it should be fixed now. Sorry it took so long. |

Hi @fjaviersanchez just wanted to let you know the latest version of the notebook is working well when I'm using sims 2_8_0+lsst_distrib w_2018_19. I do see some warning that I wanted to check with you, to see if you see the same. I'll attach 3 images. Do you see the same? |

I've seen the last two warnings but I haven't seen the first one using an older version of the shared stack install at NERSC. I think they aren't very worrisome but I'll take a look to see if I can get rid of them. |
