Welcome to local-llama-rag! This application lets you chat with your local documents using Llama 3. Your data stays private and only exists on your PC. Follow the steps below to get started quickly.

Before installing, ensure your system meets the following requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, or a supported Linux distribution.
- RAM: At least 4 GB.
- Storage: Minimum of 1 GB free space.
- Python: Version 3.8 or above (It comes included).

Open the Application
- After installation, find the local-llama-rag icon on your desktop or in your applications list. Click to open it.

- Upon opening the application, you’ll see a simple interface. Click on "Start Chat" to begin interacting with your documents.

- Click on the “Load Documents” button. Select files from your computer that you want to chat with. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, and TXT.

- Type in questions regarding the contents of the loaded documents. The application will respond with accurate answers based on the text.
