Removes some old AD tests which involved Zygote, in favour of not bothering testing against an AD backend. Also removes direct dep on Distributions in favour of a naive approach to computing the logpdf of a normal distribution. The purpose of these changes is to reduce (even further) the maintenance burden associated to this package.
Also updates the Julia versions on which this is tested.
