  • 👋 Hi, I'm @IgorAlov. Certified Network Engineer from St.-Petersburg, Russia;
  • I graduated from the Bonch-Bruevich St.-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications with a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering;
  • I have been working in the telecommunications industry since 2007;
  • Experience in configuration and deployment of networks using equipment from different vendors: switches, routers, security firewalls;
  • Understanding the principles of building reliable networks such as Data Center Network, Backbone Network and Access Network;
  • Prefer Slackware and Debian Linux distributions;
  • Manage distributed Proxmox/ceph cloud. Build on EVPN/VxLAN network (Juniper + FRR);
  • Use modern technologies such as IaC, virtualize and containerize;
  • Working with Ansible, Terraform, Terragrunt;
  • Using latest tools for infrastructure monitoring;
  • Have programming skills in PHP, Python3 and C/C++;
