To add, this is also happening to me with Vivaldi and Cider. To temporarily fix until next reboot, I have to right-click on EarTrumpet > Volume Mixer > Right Click on the application (Vivaldi) > Click on the Left/Right arrows > "Always Use Default Playback Device".
I am using this alongside SoundSwitch, which manages my shortcuts to change default Playback Device
EarTrumpet Version: 2.2.2.0
Windows 11 Pro
Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621
Hello, This issue is still a thing and the only thing that I have found out is that it usually switches to the correct audio device after the program has been reopened. Can not say if it is the same for all programs tho.
