This is an update of the previous "v0.2.1 - Direct and Indirect Electrification options", in which we fixed some outdated files in the model configuration.

This is an update of the previous "v0.2 - Direct and Indirect Electrification options", in which we fixed some outdated files in the "paper_scenarios" folder, which now contains the correct files and a nomenclature of those.

v0.2 - Direct & Indirect Electrification options

v0.2 - Direct & Indirect Electrification options is an upgrade of the previous "Direct Electrification" model version, which now includes also power-to-gas options (electrolysers, methanation with direct air capture) and the possibility to use carbon-neutral gas in the existing infrastructure (gas network, gas network storage, gas turbines). This version has been used for the revised submission of the associated paper.

Version "P2H-DHW" for ECOS2020

Version of the model which includes Power-to-Heat (P2H) for domestic hot water (DHW) production, for the reference year 2015. This model version has been used for the study: "Francesco Lombardi, Sylvain Quoilin, Emanuela Colombo, Modelling distributed Power-to-Heat technologies as a flexibility option for smart heat-electricity integration, ECOS 2020"

Version "Direct electrification" used for first paper submission

Version "Direct electrification" used for first paper submission. This version features a fully decarbonised Italian power sector, yet including only direct-electrification options, which means that power-to-gas is excluded. This version of the model has been used for the first submission of the associated paper.
