- @nikobeer presents the mriCatApp of Reger-Werkausgabe
- In MRI's/RWA's context Edirom-Online is only one application for a specific task to work on or with research/edition data. Here: showing digital facsimila and navigating through these objects. Research data is provided within a centralised eXist-db. So the idea was to have a query and management application to access this data in "curated" ways. So instead of every application doing its own data query and compilation, queries are addressed to the mriCatApp which itself returns data and information with respect to MRI guidelines. For example: work titles, source titles, person names etc. Interplay of Edirom-Online and mriCatApp in RWA Online could be a possible role modle for future Edirom-Online modularisation developments. mriCatApp as an eXist-db application currently developed within MRI/RWA context and will be published and available open source in the future. (Niko Beer)
