Our Release Schema follows the Ubuntu Naming Philosophy, using alliterative names for codenames and Semantic versioning for ordinal designations
Semver
Semver follows the format a.b.c, where:
a is a Release Designation
b is a Minor Release Designation
c for Patches.
Ubuntu's Alliterative Code names
Ubuntu innovated a revolutionary codename that uses a alliterative adjective and a Animal for codenames. An example is Trusty Thar. Clara uses the following with a slight modification of using Anime Characters instead of animals, like Scintillating Sagiri.
