A number of processes and assumptions were updated in this release, notably: base fee from 100 to 30 Gwei per gas (3 months median), priority fee 2 Gwei per gas (to compensate for uncle risk pre-merge & potential transaction inclusion auctions post-merge), MEV modelled as a separate process.
