Trap music has really changed a lot in the last five years. It's become more of a bass music or bass house style, which isn't something I'm as into. I haven't found too many Trap EDM songs I've loved in recent memory.

Skrillex is still great, he keeps evolving and it just gets better. I just watched the movie _The Marvels_ and it was so fun to hear _Ratata_ featured in it!

### Newer Styles

I've gone back to my roots of junior high a little and have been getting into some parts of techno again. I listen to Will Sparks a lot still, but he's been making more of a big-room techno sound. Some new artists (or really not so new, but more so newer styles from these artists) I listen to are Maddix, Hardwell, Mariana Bo, and Timmy Trumpet, who all dabble in this style, and some variations of it.

I've listened to some of LSDREAM (Peace Love & Wubz from 2021 is so good!) and Ganja White Night off and on in the last year, which is a cool style with a good deal of wubz. On a little more chill note, I've listened to Iglooghost a fair bit too, with my favorite song being Zones U Can't See. This feels more of an experimental style, but it's fun to have weird and glitchy music sometimes!

I've also been listening to a lot of Drum and Bass in the last couple of years too. I've long been a fan of Pendulum and have been listening to them since I was in high school, but never expanded into the genre last them until more recently. Most notably, Sub Focus, Luude, some of the newer Pendulum releases, and a variety of others that aren't notable enough yet to me to name here. Here's a playlist I put some of my more favorites into.
