After many months of dormancy, this is a version stable enough to be a standard way of installing and updating AO.

Known Issues

• Custom RCC files defined by the manifest that contain a custom icon and download notice fail to load.

Acceptance testing

QArchive is a little unstable on Windows - I'm not sure why. Sometimes it produces error codes that do not exist in any error code table that I know of. Needs more testing to investigate.

This version should be able to download and install on the first try. I'll have to do some more debugging if that is not the case.

To-do

• Show modal dialog when installation is complete
• Redesign the download portion to make it fully asynchronous (it freezes on checksum and extraction)
• Write to log
• Check for new launcher version
