v0.2-alpha

After more then two months (including some holidays). Alpha 0.2 is finally ready. There is no set list of features which have been added / removed. The biggest change is that visually the client is completely rewritten.

The result of the redesign is that in general everything is more clear. Next to that there is great support for reading conversations. Using a new overlay feature when clicking on the icon of a post; the whole conversation between all the users involved can be read. (See the README for sceenshots)

Furthermore the whole client is more polished in general.

Be aware though that it is still alpha software. Not everything is worked out completely yet. The focus of the next release is on new users and giving new users the best experience they can get.

Windows

Download the zip file Twisting-Win-x64.zip linked below. Unzip the zip file and run Twisting.exe. (There is not installation, it will just run)

Linux and Mac

No binaries for those platforms in this release. Coming releases I hope to include them. Building a Linux version from source is possible though, see the README.

v0.1-alpha

More than a year after the first commit (alright, I was gone for 11 months); is finally the first alpha release ready! As stated in the README Twisting tries to be a user friendly, developed with the latest technology, beautiful designed, Twister client. It tries to be, because the alpha tag already gives away that it isn't yet.

This alpha release is mainly to do some rough tests on how the client is performing. The goal is to gather some feedback on its general design and performance. And of course it is always a motivation when people are actually using what you made. Personally I already use the client for all my Twister activity except private messaging.

So please be careful, I am fairly sure it will run just fine, multiple tests have been done on multiple devices. You can run the client next to your already installed client, since all the file-system activity stays in the Twisting folder.

Do you encounter a bug or a major crash? Please add it as an issues to this repository!
