i'm an AI researcher, quant, and obssessive builder. currently starting wright labs, building foundation models for long-horizon tasks.

cool things i've done:

  • made a bootstrapped data cleaning company, starting off a $5k grant for winning buildspace
  • founded a quant fund in high school with ex-Bridgewater devs, ex-Amazon AI devs, and the CTO of a crypto exchange
  • invented a new type of charitable giving vehicle, the CGRT, buy combining insurance products with charitable remainder trusts
  • made a carbon-capture filter for cars and won international entrepreneurship competitions for it in middle school
  • ran MIT's startup accelerator, Starthouse, and helped incubate lots of companies and got them their first checks

cool things i've built:

  • whitebox: agents for multimodal data cleaning the video that started it all
  • kay: self-enabling AI agent that builds it's own tools and placed 4th at an MIT hackathon
  • aeras: car tailpipe carbon capture filter that removes 90% of Carbon Dioxide/Monoxide using polyethylenimine hydrogel beads
  • gated memory unit: a new RNN architecture that was 4x more efficient and my first published paper

cool places i've worked/consulted for:

  • Oak Ridge National Lab: AI researcher on a ton of different teams
  • Charles Schwab: created charitable giving vehicles with their charitable arm
  • A bunch of different startups: Ondara, Distru, etc.

i go to school in Boston, but i usually work in Cambridge, and you can probably find me in San Francisco.
