Text annotations aren't reliably changing color

I'm seeing weird behavior with color changes for existing text annotations. In one case (which I can't currently reproduce) it changed the shadow color only. In others it's changing the color in the PDF view but not in the sidebar (cached image not being invalidated?). In others it changes in the PDF view, but once I tap on the annotation, the view goes back to the original color until I leave and return to the view.
