hello, thanks for your work. In the paper, I am confused about the affordance, it seems that the affordance is about the objects, but in figure 1 the affordance is "rideable", in figure 3 the Affordance Predictions are "cut", “eat", so what's the affordance?

Hi, thanks for your interest. In fact, we also spent a long time to understand affordance. Sorry for still causing you confusion. Affordances (also related to functionalities) mean what actions can be applied to an object. For example, if an object is eatable/cuttable, we can eat the object or cut the object.
We think verb/action describes the existing interaction from person perspective, while affordance illustrates the interaction possibilities( or action possibilities) of an object. i.e. affordance is describing the HOI from object perspective, while verb/action is from person perspective. For a simplicity, you can regard affordance as verb.
