Compact sidebar pops up when opening menus in menubar

What happened?

I personally do not use the compact sidebar so I have it disabled entirely to not show up even with hover turning false for this zen.view.compact.show-sidebar-and-toolbar-on-hover flag.

But when opening any menu in the menubar opens the sidebar in compact mode.

I have tested this with my mods (left) on and without on a brand new profile as well (right). I am using the latest macOS26 beta if it helps.

Expected behavior

Sidebar does not pop up

Actual behavior

Sidebar appears unintentionally

In compact mode, open any menu.
