Windows do not show up on a new workspace until I send bind = $mainMod, U, layoutmsg, setlayout master or bind = $mainMod SHIFT, U, layoutmsg, setlayout dwindle

After that, all the current windows spawned fly in from the top left corner, and any subsequent windows spawned function correctly..

I've also found that sometimes, when this happens, instead of the windows spawning in from the top left corner, the session just crashes.
