User Resource Directory

  • C:\Users\USER_NAME_HERE\AppData\Roaming\OpenSpades\Resources in Windows Vista and later
  • ~/Library/Application Support/OpenSpades/Resources in OS X
  • $XDG_DATA_HOME/openspades/Resources in Linux

This directory is used to store user-specific data files and derived files. Derived files include log file (SystemMessages.log), screenshots, and sceneshots.

This directory is guaranteed to be owned and writable by a user.

Installation Global Resource Directory

  • WHERE_OPENSPADES_EXE_LOCATED_IN\Resources in Windows
  • OpenSpades.app/Contents/Resources in OS X
  • /usr/local/share/games/openspades/Resources in Linux

This resource directory might be shared between all users using your installation of OpenSpades. Therefore this usually contains pak files from the official release and should be replaced every time OpenSpades is upgraded.

OpenSpades will not create nor overwrite any files in this directory.

This wiki is in the middle of an update process to match the latest changes of OpenSpades 0.1.2
