Upload freezes for two minutes before uploading

When i try to upload an audio file it takes ~2mins before any activity (from the logs) takes place, then it all works as expected.

During the wait the loading bar is displayed with non-progressing value of 0, and after the ~2 mins the file is uploaded and the name is displayed.
During the transaction the network is idle for the ~2 mins then uploads ~instantly.
