Migrate to TypeScript and update to the latest yeoman libraries

Hi. I recently upgraded a generator I maintain (https://github.com/groovytron/generator-skjol) and I was wondering if there would be some interest in upgrading this yeoman/generator-generator to TypeScript and the latest versions of yeoman libraries.

It was not an easy task so I guess many would be happy to generate a new generator with TypeScript and mocha already set up as well as the last versions of yeoman libraries.

I would take inspiration from my generator.

What is your point about it ?

yeoman/yeoman-test is the first package which is converted to TypeScript.

After checking it out, I think an upgrade of generator-node needs to be done before upgrading generator-generator as it depends on it. I'll give it a try.
