Can't run kikit from Kicad 8 cmd

Windows 10:
I've been using kikit in v7 cmd and there's no issues.

I've installed kicad 8, and run pip install kikit from the kicad 8 command as per instructions here: https://yaqwsx.github.io/KiKit/v1.4/installation/windows/#installation-on-windows

The install was successful, but the command 'kikit' returns an error:

'kikit' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Am I missing something?

I think C:\Program Files\KiCad\8.0\bin\kicad-cmd.bat is wrong, I think it should be Python311 ?

So was my solution correct or should I revert my change? It seemed to work.

It was. The missing path in PATH was reported and it will be fixed in the next KiCAD release.
