Just letting everyone know that we are working on packaging KiKit in nixpkgs.
It consists of both the kikit python package (, its dependencies) and the two PCM third party packages and an addition to the nixpkgs kicad package that allows specifying 3rd party packages.
It's not merged yet. We might have missed something. If anyone of you are interested in Nix, consider taking a look.
We may return here after it is (hopefully) merged to possibly add a link to this package or instructions on how to use KiKit in Nix.
By the way, the python package is already available in ngipkgs.
