Having a resolved plot like this could be nice. It'll show bends in the curve much more easily

I also think this would be helpful since it actually shows "bending the curve"!

That plot is from my plotting notebook at https://colab.research.google.com/drive/1w-YaCRkhw2Zxwhz4BCiazIdKyRvG3JFZ .
It uses the "active" column from the corona data scraper . It's calculated here as the number of confirmed cases - deaths - recovered .

Hi guys, thanks for your suggestions! but do you think the general public can understand these? I'm not a data scientist myself. Frankly I don't even know how to read them.

There is no recovery data as far as I know. please let me know if you found any US data
