Problem: on software pages, Compliance Suite are reported (example: https://xmpp.org/software/ejabberd/) , however no information about which version of the software is compliant. In contrary, the table with exhaustive XEP supports provide the version from which the XEP is supported. This makes difficult to choose properly a software when installing on a distribution with packages management (not at the latest version).

Proposition : request in the doap files to document as well the Compliance suite XEP (at least the last one XEP-0479)

Generally, the computed compliance level always applies to the latest version of a software.

A software's compliance to the latest XMPP Compliance Suite (XEP-0479 at the time of writing) is computed by applying the compliance suite to the RFCs and XEPs listed in each software's DOAP file. DOAP files don't explicitly state their compliance level - it is computed. Therefore, we can only take the latest available DOAP file and compute its compliance. Taking software version + supported XEPs into account would require:

a) authors to always add software versions for each XEP
b) authors to list available versions

Both is not the case, which further complicates computation of a compliance level to that detail.
