Remove the leading zero from single-digit hours

I really like this firmware over the default firmware that ships with the 
Chronos. I think it would be really neat, however, if instead of displaying the 
time like 05:30, it could show the time as 5:30. Is there any way you can 
remove the leading zero from the time?

I don't know nearly enough about programming this thing to do it myself, and 
even if I did, I can't figure out how to get IAR to make a firmware .txt file.
