Feature request: stdout format to json #12

Would it be possible to offer the option to have the stdout log format be in json? It would make it easier to parse the application logs.

Hi @servo1x, we would welcome a PR that implements this, but unfortunately we don’t have much time to work on it ourselves at the moment.
