Clarification on BC_XXX vs Case-XXX files

Hello,

The documentation mentions that when creating a new flow configuration, one only needs to create a new BC-XXX file, without modifying the core solver routines. However, I don’t see any BC-XXX files in the repository. Instead, there are Case-XXX files (e.g., Case-Channel.f90, Case-Cavity.f90, etc.).

Are these Case-XXX files the same as the BC-XXX files mentioned in the documentation, or has the naming convention changed in newer versions?

Hello,

The files BC-XXX in the source code were renamed to Case-XXX around mid-2024. The documentation will be updated to reflect this modification. Currently, the documentation is slightly out-of-date... The files Case-XXX correspond to the files BC-XXX.
