It's usually recommended to not mess with the browser's scrollbar CSS but horizontal width is too precious, it's probably worth breaking that convention (twitch does it anyway)

Enabling chrome://flags/#overlay-scrollbars does the trick for now, apparently they are working on "Fluent overlay" currently that is better for the CPU/GPU and is already used in Windows 11.
