I have tested on Arch Linux (Kitty) and Windows 11 (Windows Terminal), and only the arrow keys is working on my machine. ABNT2 keyboard.

The README was a bit unclear about how keybinds work, so I've made some clarifications, and some minor changes to the code. If you build again, the .default.cfg file will be placed in the same directory as doom_ascii, and the keybinds should then match what's described in the README. Please let me know if it works for you now.

I can strafe and choose my weapon, but I cant move. (I cant fire or walk)

If help, my keyboard doesn't have arrow keys and emulates it in WASD when I click Fn + W, and I'm using the IWAD from Sharewave.
