Support different data filters

How can we configure data filters?

Right now this is not supported in the Gem and it will involve quite a bit of work to get it in:

• Dashboard have to implemented before Controls can come into play.

Not sure if I'll have the bandwidth to work on this but I welcome pull requests. Thank you.
