PboManager icon lingering on W11 taskbar causing issues until restart. #51

I tried to disable my task bar editing programs before reporting this, but this stays on the task bar and actually de-syncs the taskbar after bulk compressing pbo files. It causes the entire task bar to break when it happens and the icons no longer reflect whats actually going on, it also freezes the clock on the task bar.

Hi, I could not reproduce the issue on a fresh Windows 11 system, so all I can do is blind shots.

I made the experimental build with the taskbar progress indicators disabled.

Please try the build and let me know if it did help.

Be advised that the new version fixed the issues. Before this change the icon would linger on the taskbar and every taskbar on every screen would freeze.

Just tested this new version and it seems that the icon properly goes away and works fine afterwards without needing to restart explorer.

The bug fix made it my favorite PBO manager.

Edit- One final note, the new version also works with taskbar editing programs like translucent taskbar.

This was not yet a fix. I disabled one feature, and now I am going to return it piece by piece and see when the issue returns back.

Hi. I returned back part of the feature. Kindly let me know if the issue reproduces now.
