I recently came across a problem when trying to deploy a contract that uses externally linked libraries using viem. It doesn't seem possible to do this because you can't access the compiler from js environment.
A great solution would be to have a typescript wrapper around forge to be able to access the build command and all its flags. It seems like this idea has already been thought of and at least partly started. Is there any update on this and is the development still ongoing?
