prepare package for CRAN submission

now with the removal of the usage of the remote for rEDM package, we do not have that barrier to submitting the package to CRAN

this is not a high high priority, but the package is well formatted and well on its way to stable enough, it is documented and submission gives us a good target to work towards, so i'm in favor
