Description
Have you read the Contributing Guidelines?
- I have read the Contributing Guidelines
Which service/package is affected?
Tauri Service (@wdio/tauri-service)
Package Version
latest
Node.js Version
latest
Operating System
macOS
What happened?
Tauri logs are filled with Webdriver spam. This is to be expected when the logLevel is set to debug, the problem is that the console wrapper script is logged out in full repeatedly, we are seeing instance log files reaching 32MB which could be significantly reduced if executeScript logs were a short one-line by default, perhaps the user could opt-in to full "noisy mode" debug logs where every executeScript is logged in full.
We need to ascertain the following:
- what does this affect (is it just Tauri or is it the Electron Service too?)
- should this be a matter for the parent project or is it up to the services? Perhaps both.
Expected Behavior
More manageable log files
Minimal Reproducible Example
Just look at the logs
