Hi,

Sorry if this is dumb, but I see the latest tag as: 3.0.24

But there is no branch for 3.x

Can you please tell me which release is the latest and safe to use with Magento CE 1.9.x?

Thank you!

I haven't been releasing much on the 2.x branch. If you visit webcomm/magento-boilerplate-app you can see the v3 stuff.

The 2.0 branch is the one you want if you're after the Bootstrap / LESS flavour, otherwise see the other project :)

So the installations instruction in the README file in webcomm/magento-boilerplate-app are for the 3.0.x version releases of webcomm/magento-boilerplate?

2.x is what README is aimed towards. Visit webcomm/magento-boilerplate-app on GH to see 3.x

Ok, thank you. I see what you did here.
So here are the core files. Which version of Zurb Foundation do I have to Download vor Boilerplate 3.x? v5 or v6?

I have one more question please: Why didn't you add your files into your boilerplate package? Shouldn't base/default stay untouched?

Because your theme should inherit off base/default, we can add our own layout and template files in there as long as we are not touching core Magento files (ie every extension you install does this).
