Due to the mechanism the update checker works, Google search is leveraged. However, results from the search have changed over the years and included similar results which caused inaccuracy. To solve it, on the next release of AeroZoom (e.g. 5.0), the update checker should check for "ws.az50" instead of "ws.az.50", where the '50' may be considered a separate keyword. This requires changing the web page it checks as well.
