Please unlock issue #651. While it is locked, I can not post the link to the repo that addresses the assertions that xi is making. Nor do any references come up as "mentions".

A new issue has been logged to the WCAG 3 issues to track and record the need to investigate and research use of APCA, which can be found at Research APCA as an option for color contrast checking #158.
