Affected Puppet, Ruby, OS and module versions/distributions

  • Puppet: 7/8
  • Ruby:
  • Distribution: Debian 12
  • Module version: <= 8.1.0

How to reproduce (e.g Puppet code you use)

Using newer version of many puppet modules with requirements for puppet-systemd >= 6.0.0(e.g. puppet-rabbitmq)

What are you seeing

Dependency conflicts when trying to install the modules

What behaviour did you expect instead

Output log

Any additional information you'd like to impart

Are there any known problems with upgrading the puppet-systemd dependency? Do you need help in making this update? I would be glad to help if I can be any help with my limited knowledge of this modules code.

Thank you all for your ongoing work in maintining this module.
