Currently, the CottontailSelector does not support batched NNS:

cineast/cineast-core/src/main/java/org/vitrivr/cineast/core/db/cottontaildb/CottontailSelector.java

public <E extends DistanceElement> List<E> getBatchedNearestNeighbours(int k, List<float[]> vectors, String column, Class<E> distanceElementClass, List<ReadableQueryConfig> configs) {

There should at least be an unoptimized implementation, ideally this could be coordinated with the Cottontail devs.
