With MSE players, as long as you deliver audio segmented into fragments mp4, support for codes comes mostly from the browser not the JS library. While there are some aspects of mp4, TS, or container-less audio parsing required to support certain audio segment formats, HLS.js will only stream audio that it determines the browser can play via MSE. The README lists much more than simply AAC support. Codec and container formats are two different things. You can deliver the widest variety of audio codecs in fragmented mp4 container format. |

Hi, I think it could be great if there was support for other audio codec, like ogg, wav etc... I know it's not in the official documentation, but there's many audio codec/format better than aac (cause aac can't have any wanted duration, so no the best for HLS streaming lol)
