First, thank you so much for this awesome plugin! I use it daily.
Since upgrading to Zotero 7 (as a flatpak on Linux-Fedora) I get the following error message after opening the "Zotero Link: Insert": "Couldn't connect to Zotero, please check the app is open and Zotero Local API is enabled".
The error occurs right after the input field opens. However, when I start to type a specific name or title, the correct article appears after having typed around 3-6 letters, i.e., it finds around 2-5 articles that match the name. After having selected the correct article, everything works like it should.
I don't really understand where this issue is coming from. Maybe my Library is too big (~1200 entries) and there is some sort of timeout while the plugin tries to display all possible entries...
Is there a way to deactivate the error messages or, even better, display all results directly under the input field even without having to type some letters first?

This is the intended and default behavior of the plugin.
I was trying to reproduce the issue in my setup, but unfortunately with no much luck.
I've checked Zotero source code and there are no limits on the number of returned items, it works fairly quickly for me on a ~1900 entries.
I will see if I could get your Linux setup replicated, but this will take time. Meanwhile, if you will see any changes in plugin behavior - let me know.
