Data request worksheet tailored to ex parte? #17
Comments
Hi @allisonmorgan! Thanks for reaching out. We don't have a specific data request worksheet related to ex parte, because we generally try to think about the entire end-to-end renewal process, of which ex parte is only the first step. There may be framing concerns around pitching an engagement as an end-to-end analysis (as opposed to an ex parte deep-dive), so any of the worksheets or data requests can be tweaked to get more specific pieces of the puzzle! Thank you for flagging the file format issues. I believe wherever we've linked a docx or xlsx, we provide a PDF link as well (for example, the links on this page all should have PDF links). Are there specific links you're finding that don't have corresponding PDF links? |
Ah. So it sounds like the analysis mentioned for the ex parte workshop:
is based on the ex parte failure reasons data not the renewal funnel process. Is that right? I wonder if some specificity on the workshop description there would be helpful (e.g. "opportunities identified during ex parte failure reasons analysis"). (I was expecting the funnel and worksheets to be relevant to this workshop but they were not.) Oh nice! I think you did get many of the ones I saw when I reviewed the plays page last week. There are a few from Benefits Data Trust here and here. Maybe you don't want to support PDFs for those because they are owned by them? |
Ok, that makes sense! Yes, when we go into ex parte workshops, we're generally looking at opportunities identified in the ex parte failure reasons. The funnel data is important for context in this workshop, but it's not the focus (for example, if 99% of people manage to pass a manual renewal after failing ex parte, then boosting ex parte rates might be more of a cost-saving measure as opposed to preventing churn). Thank you for calling out the ambiguity here, we can update the language on the workshop pages! Regarding the BDT assets: you're correct, we chose to just link out because we weren't the maintainers of the documentation. We felt that it was more important that users have the most up-to-date versions! |
Hello! My name is Allie and I'm a data scientist at CFA. I really appreciate this playbook you all have made! I had a suggestion on the data request section and one general suggestion for usability:
