I think the idea is the first, i.e. "(sorun)". It seems like "(sorun)" is there to make the actual meaning of the first nominal clause explicit to us. |
When I prepared the example, my intention was having two sentences:
It was not intended, but the version with the parenthetical adds yet another interesting case. Elided head becomes apposition. But, this apposition seems more "meta-linguistic" case, I do not think it is very natural in real language use. |
Is the small treebank meant to have "(sorun)", "sorun", or nothing? Currently it looks like the first option is what's used in the Turkish annotations:
